The Centre for Technology, Environment and Design is seeking Instructor(s) with appropriate academic background, experience in post-secondary/in-service teaching, the ability to work in a student-centered setting to deliver the following courses in the
School of Engineering Technologies:
FALL 2024 (Sept to Dec 2024):

EDD2270 Mechanical Design II (6 hours per week for 15 weeks)
EDD1160 Technical Drawing – 2 sections (3 hours per section week for 15 weeks)

WINTER 2025 (Jan to April 2025):
EDD 1170 C01 Mechanical Design (6 hours per week for 15 weeks)
ENF 1166 C02 Statics & Strength of Materials (5 hours per week for 15 weeks)
CON 1180 C01 Construction Engineering I (5 hours per week for 15 weeks)
CON 1165 C01 Construction Materials (2 hours lecture, 4 hours lab per week for 15 weeks)

Required Qualifications
The successful casual candidate(s) will possess a comprehensive knowledge of the discipline of the course and field of application.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma plus field/industry/teaching experience
  • Dynamic individual with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience
  • Commitment to excellence in teaching and learning
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters Degree
Salary Commensurate with education and experience in accordance with the current Faculty Collective Agreement.
