The Facilities Management department is seeking an electrician to join their team on a temporary basis (one year). If you are a hard-working and driven individual, then this opportunity is for you. The Maintenance Electrician would report to the Electrical Manager. 

The responsibilities would be to inspect, repair and maintain the College’s electrical systems. The equipment that this position is responsible for are: high voltage loops, transformers, all building electrical fire alarm systems, lighting, emergency generators and transfer switches, disconnect switches, responding to work order requests and some projects.

Maintain all the work to the college building’s electrical systems. Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs of the fire alarm system, emergency plants, emergency lighting and other safety equipment, and install electrical equipment on college renovation projects. They will also perform inspection repairs and scheduled maintenance of the high voltage loop.
