About the Position | Reporting to the Vice President Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Strategic Planning, Analysis and Reporting (SPAR) is responsible for leading institutional strategic research, planning, and analysis to support the institution’s vision, mission, and strategic goals. This position is responsible for the learning assessment of initiative outcomes and reporting, including performance accountability and content of the annual report. This position plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic direction of the college. |
Position Details | In close collaboration with senior leaders, this position will drive organizational success by ensuring strategic goals are set and translated into actionable plans designed to meet the institution’s strategic imperatives. The Director supervises the team’s staff including the Manager, Institutional Planning and Reporting, Business Planning Analysts and Risk and Liability Officer, and provides coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities, including professional development and performance management. As a member of the College Leadership Council (CLC), the Director communicates, collaborates, identifies, and supports Lethbridge College initiatives. The Director designs and implements a centre-wide service model and sustainability plan that aligns with the strategy and goals of Lethbridge College. This includes representing the centre on appropriate boards, committees and working groups at various levels, internal and external to the institution. Specific Accountabilities
