About the Position
Join our team as a Student Ambassador.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people and wants to be involved in student engagement in person and online. You are passionate about a program area of study and want to develop your communication and interpersonal skills.

This opportunity contributes to student retention by delivering engaging initiatives for current students. You will also have opportunities to interact with prospective students by sharing your post-secondary experiences during recruitment events and tours.
Position Details
- Build authentic connections with faculty, peers, current and prospective students and their families by conducting campus tours and providing information about Lethbridge College programs and services.
- Develop core competency skills by working with various Registrar’s Office teams providing support and a unique perspective on projects and events.
- Conduct various office tasks including but not limited to data entry, replying to chatbot inquiries, and call campaigns to applicants and current students.
- Be comfortable working with a diverse group of students and visitors.
- Represent Lethbridge College student body in a positive and respectful manner ongoing and at all Registrar’s Office events.
- Be available to work weekends and evenings during scheduled events and tours.
- Provide peer support for incoming students.
Required Qualifications
- Completed one semester, and a current Lethbridge College student in good academic standing.
- Ability to initiate conversations and build rapport through various means of communication.
- Comfortable presenting in person.
- Motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic use and knowledge of social media is an asset.
- Knowledge of College Services and Programs in an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
Salary AUPE Class Level 1 Step 1 $16.25 per hour
